MERCHANT'S NEST
Shipping & Delivery
Shipping & Delivery
Clear delivery expectations, before you commit.
Our made-to-measure wallpaper is produced and dispatched from South Africa. We work with DHL for international delivery, and the shipping cost and estimated delivery timing for your order will be confirmed as part of your quotation.
Wallpaper is not dispatched from Ireland. It is produced in South Africa and shipped internationally via DHL. Delivery time can vary depending on production, shipment size, destination, customs processing and carrier conditions. Your specific shipping details will be provided with your quote before you confirm the order.
How wallpaper delivery works
Choose your design
Select the wallpaper, colourway and finish you want for your space.
Submit dimensions
Send us your wall measurements and project details so the order can be specified correctly.
Receive your quote
Your quote will include the applicable wallpaper pricing together with the shipping information available for your order.
Production & DHL dispatch
Once confirmed, your wallpaper is produced in South Africa and dispatched via DHL to the agreed delivery address.
Shipping cost
Wallpaper shipping is calculated according to the specific order rather than a single flat rate. Cost can vary depending on the size and weight of the shipment, the destination and the final order configuration.
For that reason, the applicable delivery charge will be confirmed with your wallpaper quotation before you place the final made-to-measure order.
Delivery timing
There is no single fixed delivery timeframe for all wallpaper orders. The overall timeline can include production time in South Africa as well as DHL transit time.
Larger or more complex shipments may require additional handling or transit time. Delivery can also be affected by the destination, customs clearance, public holidays, weather, carrier disruption or other factors outside our reasonable control.
Where possible, we will provide an estimated production and delivery window with your quotation or order confirmation. Any estimate is given in good faith and is not a guaranteed delivery date unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
Tracking
Once your wallpaper order has been dispatched, tracking information will be provided where available so you can follow the shipment through DHL.
Customs, duties and import charges
Because wallpaper is shipped internationally from South Africa, customs procedures may apply depending on the delivery destination. Any duties, taxes, import charges or customs fees will be handled in accordance with the terms stated in your quotation and the requirements that apply to the destination country.
Delivery address
Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address and contact number when confirming your order. If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible. Address changes may not be possible once the shipment has been dispatched.
Delays
If DHL or another part of the delivery chain experiences a delay, we will help investigate and provide the information available to us. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, but we will take reasonable steps to support you and keep you informed.
Loss or damage in transit
If a wallpaper shipment is lost or arrives visibly damaged, contact us promptly at info@merchants-nest.com. Where practical, please retain the packaging and take photographs of the condition in which the shipment arrived so we can raise the matter with DHL or the relevant supplier.
Other Merchant’s Nest products
Shipping arrangements for non-wallpaper products may differ depending on the product, supplier and fulfilment location. Any applicable shipping information will be shown at checkout, on the product page, in your quotation or in direct order communication as appropriate.
